From Principal's Desk

"Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those, who don’t rest on the laurels of the past."

We live today in a world that is changing at such an accelerated rate that we as educators need to pause and ponder on this entire system of Education. Are our schools well equipped to prepare our children to face the challenges that the future holds?

Questions such as these are factors that motivate us to go through a continuous process of reflection for which we at SDV work at implementing a well-balanced curriculum to ensure that the children who walk into our School will not just love their school years but truly be prepared to face life’s challenges.

I believe in the concept that children must be taught how to think, not what to think. Hence, at SDV we try to enable this with our motto of Knowledge, Imagination and Innovation. "To motivate the weak, to address the average and challenge the gifted students" is the teaching vision of our school.

We endeavour constantly to instil the importance of culture, tradition, moral values and principles in our children while educating them to match the advancement in technology and globalization. We pride ourselves to help them grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the next generation. The secondary examinations results bear testimony to the fact that after 21 years of rendering service to the society we can vouch by the word QUALITY. Our alumni have passed through the test of time and have been able to create a niche for themselves in today’s World

A committed and supportive management, dedicated teachers, caring and co-operative parents blend harmoniously have created this child-centric school. Teamwork is the hallmark of Shanti Deva Vidyalaya. I am very sure through collaborative effort and heavenly blessings of The 13th Tsona Gontse Rinpoche la we can make this school an epitome of learning and reach a milestone to benefit our students who are the future leaders of tomorrow.

With sincere and warm regards.
